Wow. Girl. Here you are manifesting around life once more. This time it’s 8:58 pm EST. You’re writing from bed in your hotel in Brooklyn, New York with a super cute 5 minute walk over to the Brooklyn Bridge. I’m on a trip, sponsored by my job at [redacted], and I’m going to Culturecon.
In these quiet moments, I catch myself sincerely shocked at how life looks & feels. To think, I spent so much time working so hard and strategizing to get to this point, and now it’s here and I’m like WOW.. Girl. Finally getting a glimpse of the life you wanted and you’re not daydreaming about it anymore, it’s a dream actualized.
For the longest, I felt…….. off. Because I’d see everyone around me with these accomplishments. Marriage, children, new houses, combined incomes.. and for a bit I was like damn, am I doing this wrong? But now… I realize that thinking was harsh because the level of joy and proudness I feel after getting myself this far is otherworldly. I have my amazing life of adventures, my financial security, my dog, my career. Just joy, peace, pride, dignity, happiness, clarity, desire… all things I want & welcome openly.
