“Black Brown Faces Verified,” held from December 2, 2023, to January 21, 2024, at the Cincinnati Art Museum, showcased an array of thought-provoking artworks curated to explore the rich tapestry of Black and Brown identities. “Black & Brown Faces Verified” marked the museum’s third exhibition, created by Paloozanoire in partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum, dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented artists. Curated as part of a series initiated in 2020 and 2022, VERIFIED aimed to challenge existing narratives, dismantle stereotypes, and offer an authentic representation of Black & Brown experiences.
